About Marissa Bell

Marissa Bell is a former teacher, Impact Award-winning author, Webby Award-winning digital creator, and social media strategist, as well as a proud mom of teenagers and wife. She is the visionary founder of Targetwhileblack and Retailwhileblack, two influential platforms that amplify the voices and experiences of Black individuals within the retail industry. Passionate about equity, Marissa has used her platforms to advocate for inclusivity, spotlighting both the challenges and successes of Black professionals and consumers.

Here, she continues to celebrate small businesses, Black-owned businesses, and minority-owned businesses, while also sharing the things that bring her joy, including crafting, books, baking, theme parks, and more.
